Hey everybody
Before I nip off to sit a wonderful test on fluids and energy, I thought I would sit down and do something of actual importance - remind you all that there is a social TONIGHT!
Everyone is going to be meeting in Rootes airport bar at about 7.30 and we are just going to have a simple social before exams start upon us all!
It'd be great to see everyone there - and everybody knows that a strategic break from revision helps you to work so much better...!
So...7.30 tonight in rootes bar
Cheers
Alex

I know everyone has exams, but does anyone fancy playing in a tournament on Sunday? (its somewhere in the West Midlands, so not too far away!). Please let me know ASAP if you are free.

Hey everyone
Just thought that I'd send final details about the surfers bar social that is happening TOMORROW NIGHT!
Just so everybody knows....Warwick hospitality is opening the bar especially for the club, as it is normally shut at the moment. So everybody can turn up knowing that IT WILL BE OPEN!
The social is going to be starting at 7.30 in the surfers bar at westwood. For those of you that don't know how to get there, I have put directions below, but if you are still unsure just call me to ask.
So, I hope to see everybody there tomorrow night enjoying themselves! Don't forget that myself and Dave have organised a special surprise for everybody - so turn up to see what it is!
Cheers
Alex
Directions:
I'm guessing that most people will be walking to the bar from campus direction. Follow the signs that direct you along the footpath towards the westwood campus (takes you in the direction of University house). Once you have reached the end of this path, you will have to cross over the road and walk towards the westwood sports hall. Follow the path until you reach the netball courts/tennis courts. Turn right down yet another bit of pathway. Turn right when you get to the road, and follow the road around. There will be one small bit of road which is signed as being for delivery vehicles, then another road off to the right. Dont take this road, but keep walking until you reach yet another road that turns off to the right. Walk down here, until you reach the Westwood dining hall on your left. Walk round the side of the building and go in the door. Surfers Bar is then on your right once your inside the building!
I hope those directions are ok - i know they are long winded but I thought that was better than people getting lost. It REALLY sint difficult to find it, it just sounds complicated. From the main road near University house, it should only take a few minutes to get to the bar.
Cheers

Executive Elections Dinner is on Wednesday at the Farmhouse near Canley Crossing. We'll be meeting in The Bar (Airport) at 19:00 to leave for the Farmhouse at 19:15. Vicky says:
If you don't know where it is:
DRIVING: drive over Canley crossing, at the roundabout turn right, at the traffic lights, you can't go straight over, so turn right, the left into the Farmhouse carpark.
BUS: Number 12 from campus. At the beginning of Hearsall Common, get off the bus, and cross the road. Walk down the one way road towards Canley Station, and if you can't see the pub you're a muppet!
