Hello Guys and Girlies!!!

There seems to be spaces for raft racing on Friday, so if anyone is interested in a super cool fun amazing day out then post here for a once in a life time opportunity! We are all meeting at LEAM BOAT CENTER, at 10:15 am. For campus dwellers and Cov commuters I will be getting the 9:30 bus from campus, feel free to join me!!!

We will be making rafts and then racing them down the river,┬áso please bring suitable kit, aka wet stuff and a dry change of kit,┬áI havenÔÇÖt checked the weather forecast, but as it is June and sunny outside my window currently┬áI am assuming that tomorrow it will be a lovely summer day! (I accept no responsibility for wet horrible weather.)

There will also be a barbeque after the racing is done so you will also need to bring with you meat and drink (vegetarians can bring some alternative, I suppose) and we will need a few barbeques. 

I don't know exactly what time we will be finished I reckon it will depend on the weather and whether we manage to raft all the way to France or not.

This fantastic day out will set you back £5, which you will need to bring with you!!!

As mentioned, It would be a nice idea, if those that are free to head to Varsity Thursday lunch time (12.30ish to 2.30ish) for something to eat and drink.

I am sure you would agree, a sweet end to a good year.

See you there, I am also planning on heading to the pool afterwards I think, (Angie has her boat!) and having my own swimming session in OUR half of the pool.

Just a quick note to say that pre sports fed drinking is happening on the piazza from 5:45 today.  If its raining then to the bar it shall be. 

so come along even if you dont have a ticket and hopefully we will enjoy nice weather and good company.

Due to a lack of busses from Leamington at an appropriate hour (and due to popular demand), we will now be meeting at:

9:30am, Westwood Garage.

i.e. if you are coming from Leam, be on the bus that arrives at 9:30 please.

IÔÇÖve had this fantastic idea!!

 

As my last action as an exec of Warwick Canoe I want to hold a small BOATER X while we have Nene on Firday.

 

While everyone is playing or having some top notch coaching during the first hour or so, I will be setting 4 courses:

 

• Beginner
• Intermediate
• Advanced
• Inflatable

 

The event will therefore be open to everyone and you will need to be bring some sort inflatable craft (body boards & air beds included).┬á If you donÔÇÖt have one, you may feel the need to make, beg or buy one.

 

There will be prizes for the winners and losers and will be generally a lot of fun!

 

If you are not signed up for the Nene trip, there is still time and places so if you are feel from about 12.30pm till around 8ish (including bar time) then grab your gear and let go boating.

there is someone who may be interested in buying two of our obselete boats if they come with paddles, if so this would be fine as we have loads of old paddles lying around, but i need to make sure i don't sell any personal kit, so:
