Good morning
The canoe club is again getting jackets this year, but this time around we are getting flipping amazing ones!
We are getting Montane Extreme Jackets(for girls)/Smocks(for guys), see http://www.montane.co.uk/products/men/extreme/extreme-smock/99.
They will come in black, suitable for men and women, at the even more flipping amazing price of just £60! If you buy them from a normal retailer they are RRP £90. Significant savings and you get them with the Warwick Canoe name on the back.
So, you ask, how do you purchase one of these jackets? Simple - email me (secretary@warwickcanoe.co.uk) with your size (X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large or XX-Large) and give a cheque made payable to UWSU to Scamrass or me (or leave in the canoe noticeboard in Union North, top floor to the left of the finance office).
Deadline for emails and jackets is this time next week, thursday 4:00pm. I will be at the canoe session then for last minute moneys.
Your trusty secretary
Steve
Ok you ugly lot, this is the one you've all been waiting for, and it's going to be absolute carnage!
Well be meeting in The Dirty Duck at 1900hrs on friday of this week where the first of nine holes will be played. We'll be finishing up in Kelseys. It's going to be wicked!
The theme for the evening is emergency services so:
First years dress as paramedics/doctors
Second years dress as the Fire brigade
Third and Forth years dress as policemen/women
Anyone on a post graduate course or who has graduated, must dress as secret service
See you in the Duck on friday!
Much love,
Pebble
Yo yo yo!
We'll be running another tournament next Tuesday, for everyone again, everyone is welcome. This time people will be put into the teams for the upcoming Warwick Tournament, and a team for anyone who's left. Please don't be discouraged if you haven't made it in to one of the teams for the tournament. Next Tuesday will be one of the many occasions to prove whichever bunch of knob ends chose the teams that they were wrong!
Tuesdays will always be open to everyone.
Teams will be given handicaps to even up the games. E.g. Warwick A vs Warwick C might start 0-9. Warwick A need to score at least 10 goals to win. Warwick C just have to stop them scoring 9 or more goals to make the A's lose.
There is a signup on the website, on the left hand links under 'Canoe/Trips'. Being a mong I, put four signups up, only the top one should work, so sign up to that one if you want to play.
Cheers,
G
