Scotland Sign up is on the way!

Here are the final details you need to know!

We leave Warwick Uni Campus at 08:00 Tuesday 25th March 2008 and return late on Wednesday 2nd April 2008.

The first four nights we are staying in the Linnhe Lochside caravan park in mobile homes.  http://www.linnhe-lochside-holidays.co.uk/index.htm You will need sleeping bags here as bedding costs extra!

This takes us up to Saturday 29th March 2008, when we move to our second accommodation on the shores of Loch Ness where we are staying for the remainder of the tour!  http://www.lochness-backpackers.com/

The tour is open to all, however we STRONGLY recommend that you have been on at least one river trip and are beginning to be confident in your bracing ability by the time we go.

The cost for the eight amazing days of partying and some kayaking will be ┬ú150 however this includes some damage deposits so hopefully weÔÇÖll be getting some of that back!

Sign up will open tomorrow evening and spaces will go fast so sign up quick to avoid disappointment.

ThatÔÇÖs all for now, any questions post/email!

Allright guys here is a little low down on the social front for the comming weeks, may it bring you great joy and liver pains:

THURSDAY 28th FEB:  REAL ALE SOCIAL with guest DOCTOR BUSKER. This  will be an amazing night, maybe the best night of your life.  Hopefully get you all on  the guest list for easy entry (wait for Robert's sexual inuendo). This evening consists of drinking large quantities of fine ale and singing to a legendary band, finally you will be ambushed by people less drunk than you with marker pens. Of course, like all socials you dont have drink

WEEK 8/10 ELECTIONS: Most likely to be on the thursday in Robbins well, there are rumours of kareoke to finish the evening, further details to follow....

Cardiff Tournament

Posted 16y 11mth ago by Some Old Git

Hey guys,
I've created a sign up for the Cardiff tournament. It's happening at the same weekend as rodeo i.e. week 9 (8th-9th March). Cardiff was described as a great party by people who went last year. It's also going to be valuable pre-BUSA experience, as the tournament is outdoors (just like BUSA - 11th-13th April), and playing outdoors is very different. It will then be followed by a party.
I'll get more details to you closer to the time, as at the moment it seems Cardiff have not got very far with the organisation. But please sign up as I need to have an idea of how many teams we're looking at how we're doing with drivers.
Cheers,
Signe

Refreshers Trip!

Posted 16y 11mth ago by Some Old Git
Posted by: Madi

You may have been noticing a distinct lack of trips this term, sorry! (Blame polo! boo!)  But fear not we shall be back to business starting with a Refreshers trip week6 15th-17th of February. This trip is primarily based at... you guessed it, freshers, it's another chance to get you up to scratch for the almighty Scotland tour over Easter, (which to come on, you need to have been on at least 1 river trip). We will hopefully be staying in a bunkhouse, more details to follow closer to the time. Sign up will be up tomorrow lunch time http://www.warwickcanoe.co.uk/site/trips/, so mouses at the ready!!

Bristol details

We'll be meeting at 1pm outside Sports Centre this Saturday to head to conquer Bristol.

There are still as many spaces as you please for this tournament, but I need to know asap please if you're considering joining the current crew of me, Rachel, Noj, Dom, Adam, Carver, Dunphy and Ben. We've entered two open teams, that are guaranteed at least 4 games each and we could easily do with a few more people in fact.

I've been told we'll be fed on the poolside, so that we can head to party straight after.. ?? (Bristol are clearly preparing to party hard...) so please let me know if you're a veggi so I can tell them. The tickets for the party with the other teams (who name themselves anything from Ninja Marmots to Chainsaw Dolphins!) will be 4 pounds each. Mandatory fancy dress I've been told is Heroes & Villains.
We'll sleep at people's houses (or who knows where really..) so take a sleeping bag. On Sunday morning we've been invited for a fry up. We should be back at Warwick in the afternoon, but will see from people's preferences, maybe it's all too good and we decide to say another day... (I'm joking.)
