Tyne Tour and BUCS WWR

So now that Freshers' Trip has been and gone, hopefully you all either enjoyed yourself, or saw the pictures and felt like you missed out. Well fear not, our next two trips are fast approaching. Sign ups for both trips will go up this Friday at 5pm.

At the end of week 5 the club will head up to Hexham for Tyne Tour: a weekend of paddling, camping, partying and a Ceilidh. The weekend will cost £42, and is generally very popular, so sign up promptly to avoid disappointment.

At the end of week 7 is BUCS Wild Water Racing. The club will be heading to the Washburn (North Yorkshire), to compete in a down river racing event. The weekend will cost £10, and includes transport, camping, a party, and of course, entry into the event itself. The section of river being paddled should be similar in difficulty to the river we paddled on Freshers' Trip, so anyone is welcome to sign up, even if you have never done anything like it before. Please note, as this is BUCS, you will need to be a current student of Warwick University in order to enter.

As always, for our trips, you will need to be a member of the canoe club through Warwick Sport if you wish to attend.
