Hey Guys,

I've been spending some time sorting out all the accounts so if you've been to a tournament in the last term or bought a hoodie/ rash vest then now is the unfortunate time to pay for it :/. There have been 3 NL's, 2 Cheltenham tournaments and Cardiff. So if your name is below then please can you bring the correct cash to the pool session (I have no change sorry) or preferably a cheque to WSU. Thanks :) Your name may be there more than once!!!

Doggy Paddle

Sup Boys 'n' Girls,

Sunday Week 3, or Sunday 12th May for those who shun the Warwick Week system, sees the return of Doggy Paddle.

Doggy Paddle is a yearly event in which canoeist of all ages paddle the 18 miles from Leamington to Stratford to raise money for the guide dog's association.

It's a largely flatwater paddle, with a few weirs and one compulsory portages (around the trebuchet of DEATH!!!)

Beverage is often close to hand in an buoyancy aid pocket (Although I could not possible condone an alcoholic beverage being consumed on this day trip)

It's a relaxing, fun break from Exam/Revision stress and a great opportunity to take the duo or the open!

The Cost:
  • £10 in entry fees which goes straight to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
  • Final transport costs will be worked out when we know numbers, but the last three years it has been £5
Sign up is here: http://www.warwickcanoe.co.uk/site/trips/trip/277/
Please sign up asap so we can finalize transport arrangements.

Hugs and Kisses
Gregory

Hello Kayakers,

ItÔÇÖs that exciting time of year again when you get to order the fantastic canoe hoodies!!

The hoodies will have your name and the Warwick crest on the front and the NEW CANOE LOGO designed by EJ on the back.

They will cost just over £20 each and you have a choice between a normal or a zippy hoodie.

If you would like to order a hoodie, please go on this website (http://www.originalhoodieco.com/) and select Warwick Canoe from the list at the top of the page. This will take you to the page where you can select the colour, size, type of hoodie and what name you want embroided on your brand new hoodie.

You then need to pay for your hoodie by following the PayPal link on the page. Simple. The price will initially show up as £18, as this is the price without VAT which will be added at the end, bringing the total to about £21.

The first deadline is on the 19th of April if you want your hoodie to arrive at the beginning of next term.

If you\'d like to see what the hoodies feel like and what the sizes are find a climber, as our hoodies will be of the same type as theirs.
